- 2024 KTM 790 Adventure gets revised styling
- New airbox and windscreen installed
- Will be sold alongside the 890 Adventure
KTM has decided to re-launch the 790 Adventure in the US. It was launched in 2019 but later replaced with the more powerful and modern 890 Adventure.
The reason behind the return of the 790 Adventure could be to gain additional sales and market share in the growing segment. This bike is made in China by KTM’s partner, CF Moto, which also has a stake in KTM’s parent firm.
The 2024 790 Adventure gets a host of aesthetics and feature upgrades. The styling has been marginally revised, and there’s now a new windscreen, TFT screen, and headlight. Internally, the Austrian brand has given it a new airbox and throttle body. A new cat con and muffler pipe have also been installed. These changes have been made to make the engine more efficient. Additionally, the bike also gets a new slip -and- assist clutch.
Sadly, this bike won’t be coming to India anytime soon. There’s a market for big KTM ADVs here, but the brand focuses only on entry-level models. It did sell the 790 Duke, but the bike didn’t see much success in India.
