Mahindra Two Wheelers has finally introduced a disc brake variant of the Centuro. Priced at Rs 51,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), it is just Rs 200 over the Centuro O1 variant and we think it is a very good deal.
During the launch and the media ride of the Centuro, we had asked Mahindra officials to give the Centuro a front disc brake because the drum brakes were quite ineffective. But it looks like the Pune-based manufacturer has finally woken up after receiving lot of customer complaints.
Since its launch, the Centuro has always been a very tempting product due to a host of attractive features, where some were first in the segment. However, as time passed, the company started launching more base variants in order to cater to a wider audience that would help them increase their market share. With the disc brake variant, the company plans to do the same.
