Mahindra Two Wheelers has finally launched the Gusto 125 at Rs 50,920 (ex-showroom Chennai). The company is offering two versions of the scooter – DX and VX which is priced at Rs 54,920.
Cosmetically, the Gusto 125 looks identical to its younger sibling – the Gusto 110. However, the company has taken the dual tone paint approach on this new 125cc scooter. Powering the Mahindra Gusto 125 is a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.5bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque of 10Nm at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission.
Features like adjustable seat and remote flip key are seen on this scooter. Just like the Gusto 110, the 125cc version gets a find me and guide lamp. There’s a decent amount of storage space near the instrument cluster too, other than the underseat storage. Mahindra has made it known that they’re working on a disc brake version of the Gusto 125, but will take some more time to launch it.
The bookings for the Gusto 125 has begun from today. This scooter has to compete with the recently launched Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Activa 125.
