Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched the Gusto special edition at Rs 49,350 (ex-showroom Pune). The company has launched this variant to increases its sales during the ongoing festive period.
The Gusto special edition is limited to cosmetic changes in terms of new colour schemes. This version is available in two new colours – ice cool red and silvern magento. While these colours are already available with the Gusto, Mahindra has smartly used the dual paint approach to make the Gusto look more attractive. The special edition is available only in the VX variant.
When it comes to mechanicals, there are no changes or additions. The Gusto continues to be powered by the same 109cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 9Nm at 5500rpm. The Gusto special edition gets flip key, height-adjustable seat and guide lamps.
Unlike the Mahindra Centuro, the Gusto failed to excite the market with first in segment features. The special edition might help the company put some additional numbers on its overall sales chart.
