The Mahindra Mojo has been launched in 15 more cities in India. The 300cc tourer motorcycle was available only in four cities earlier that included Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore.
Mahindra has mostly followed a phase-wise launch strategy for their products. The new markets now include Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. This list of Tier-II cities will expand as Mahindra keeps on ramping the production of the motorcycle at their Pithampur facility in Madhya Pradesh.
Powered by a 295cc liquid cooled, four-stroke engine that produces 26bhp of power and 30Nm of torque, the Mojo features Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres. It gets a huge 21 litre fuel tank to cater to the touring needs. The Mojo is Mahindra's flagship model and has received a mild response from the Indian buyers. The sales have neither shot up nor seen a downturn off late. Hopefully, with the introduction of the Mojo in more markets, Mahindra might be able to lure in more customers pushing its sales a bit further.
