Mahindra has launched a new special edition of the Mojo priced at Rs 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). Christened Mojo Tourer edition, this motorcycle comes with a host of accessories and body protectors to improve its touring capabilities.
For the additional Rs 20,000 over the standard Mojo, you get a mobile phone holder, auxiliary fog lamps, magnetic tank bag, saddle bags, a different seat cover and a tail pannier mount. It also gets a guard to protect the engine and the body panel in the event of a crash. While customers can easily get such after-market accessories retro fitted on their bikes, the company warranty on the accessories that comes with the Mojo Tourer edition should offer some peace of mind. The Mojo Tourer also comes with a free riding jacket.
Mechanically, the Mojo Tourer is identical to the standard motorcycle. Powering the motorcycle is a 296cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which delivers 28bhp and 30Nm of torque through a six-speed transmission.
With this special edition, Mahindra is now attempting to cement the Mojo’s positioning as a tourer-friendly motorcycle. Existing customers of Mahindra Mojo need not fret about missing out on these accessories, as you can approach a Mahindra dealership to get these for your motorcycle.
