- Mojo 300 BS6 to be available in at least two colours
- It will retain the design of the BS4 model
- The safety-net will include dual-channel ABS
Previously, Mahindra Two-wheelers had revealed the Garnet Black colour option for the upcoming Mojo 300 BS6. Now, the two-wheeler arm of the Mahindra Group has revealed another paint theme that will be available on the BS6-compliant Mojo 300.
Christened as Ruby Red, this new paint option features a dual-tone theme. The fuel tank, pillion grab rail and rim stickers feature a shade of red. Unlike the Garnet Black option, the Ruby Red paint does not feature a bright red colour on the frame and the swingarm.
While the motorcycle has received a new paint theme, the overall design remains identical to the old, BS4 model. Thus, the Mojo 300 BS6 features a twin-pod headlight, chiselled fuel tank, radiator shrouds, engine cowl and a single-piece seat. The motorcycle comes with a single exhaust canister, a feature that was seen on the Mojo UT 300.
Mechanical specifications are yet to be revealed but we expect BS6 Mojo 300 to retain the 295cc of displacement. The single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produced 26bhp of power and 28Nm of torque in BS4 guise. The BS6-compliant motor may deliver slightly lower power and torque output. It will continue to feature a six-speed gearbox.
The hardware on the BS6 model, similar to the BS4 Mojo UT 300, will include telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brake at both ends and dual-channel ABS.
