- To be available in four colours
- Bookings open
- Likely to be launched in August
Mahindra Two-wheelers has released a new teaser video for its upcoming motorcycle, the Mojo 300 BS6, ahead of its imminent launch. The new video reveals all the colour options that Mahindra will offer on the motorcycle. The four colour options were already revealed by the two-wheeler arm of the Mahindra Group through its social channels.
The BS6-compliant Mojo 300 will be available in four colours – Red Agate, Black Pearl, Ruby Red and Garnet Black. The Garnet Black paint option will feature a bright red colour to the chassis and the swingarm.
Apart from showcasing the colour options, the teaser video also claims that the updated model will pack better refinement and efficiency. The mechanical specifications are yet to be revealed, although we do not expect to see a major difference in the numbers as compared to the BS4 model. The 295cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine was tuned to produce 26bhp and 28Nm in BS4 guise.
While the company has revealed the motorcycle, it is yet to announce a launch date. We expect the Mojo 300 BS6 to arrive in August 2020. The bookings for the motorcycle have commenced for a token amount of Rs 5,000. Expect the updated model to retail at a premium of at least Rs 10,000 over the BS4 model. The old model was available at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
