For the umpteenth time, the Mahindra Mojo has been spied testing in Pune. The company that sells the Centuro and the Gusto, wants to enter the premium performance segment, but is exhaustively testing the Mojo 300.
The spied test mule, which was trying to enter a petrol pump in Pune didn’t sport any camouflage. The bike carried the Mojo name on both sides making us believe that it’s a production-ready model. The Mojo that is expected to be launched in the next two months debuted almost five years ago in 2010. And since then, nothing has changed drastically when it comes to its design and styling. The company has surely worked in the engine department, but we can confirm it only after riding.
The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a newly developed four-stroke 295cc single-cylinder mill that churns out 27bhp and 25Nm of torque. The liquid-cooled unit gets electronic fuel injection and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike gets dual exhaust, making it the only bike in the segment to sport one (Suzuki Inazuma has been discontinued).
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the Mahindra Mojo.
