The Mahindra Mojo 300 has been spotted testing at Chinchwad near Pune, the same place where Mahindra Two Wheelers’ R&D centre is located. The company had confirmed in January that they would launch the Mojo 300 in next fiscal year and now as the company has started testing this motorcycle, we can be sure that the launch will happen soon.
The motorcycle was first unveiled in 2010 but the company had been continuously working on the bike to tweak and improve it as it will be the first premium motorcycle in company’s portfolio. It is powered by a 292cc single cylinder mill which produces 26bhp of power at 8500 rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7000rpm.The engine in mated to a six-speed gearbox and the motorcycle has a tank capacity of 15.5 litres. When it comes to design, the Mojo 300 has a retro look making it stand out among the rest of the premium motorcycles currently available in India.
This year is a great treat for motorcycle enthusiasts. The KTM Duke 390, the Kawasaki Ninja 300R and the Suzuki Inazuma 250 are all expected to be launched in India this year. We are also expecting the Pulsar 375 to be launched next year, as Bajaj might not want all of their premium products to be launched in a single year.
