The Mahindra Mojo seems to have become a hit among the Indian masses, and is currently commanding a waiting period stretching from one to two months across four major cities in the country.
Mahindra has been conducting a number of on-ground activities for the promotion of the Mojo, and this seems to be paying off well. While the Mahindra Mojo was introduced in three vivid colours, the glacier white and volcano red liveries have been gathering a lot more attention than the charcoal black variant. The recent hike in the introductory price of the Mojo, post the festive season, hasn’t affected the sales of the motorcycle. A good word of mouth about the bike’s performance and its radical looks have also helped the Mojo’s popularity.
However, Mahindra as of now sells the Mojo only through the dealerships in four major suburbs – Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi. This limitation on the bike’s availability might be one of the reasons for the waiting period.
Post the hike in prices, Mahindra Mojo currently retails at Rs 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It competes with a wide range of motorcycles like the KTM Duke 390, Honda CBR250R and the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350.
