Mahindra had showcased the Mojo in two hot off the press paint schemes at the Auto Expo along with two custom motorcycles, earlier this year. While the chances of us seeing the Mojo Scrambler and the Mojo Adventure hitting the production lines seem very bleak, the new paint scheme is on its way, with Mahindra having started accepting bookings for the same.
Mahindra recently launched their new advertorial campaign for the Mojo, portraying it as a versatile touring motorcycle. This commercial shows the Mojo being put through its paces through different environments and terrains. Interestingly, this commercial shows the motorcycle in a new matte shade of crimson red, hinting that the launch of this model isn't very far off. Mahindra has previously confirmed that they have been working on an ABS version of the Mojo, though it is unlikely that this update will be launched anytime soon. Apart from the update in paint scheme, the new bike to be identical to the current version. The matte crimson red paint will set back the customers by an additional Rs 2,000.
It has been over six months since Mahindra launched the Mojo in the Indian market, though the number of cities where the bike is sold was expanded quite recently. With sales numbers of the motorcycle being far from encouraging, Mahindra has been working on different strategies to catch people's attention. This new advertorial campaign and the colour updates seem to be part of this strategy.
