- Now available in blue/white paint scheme
- Priced at Rs 1.79 lakhs (ex-showroom)
Mahindra has introduced a new dual-tone paint scheme for its flagship bike, the Mojo XT300. It will now be available in a blue/white colour.
The new paint scheme will be sold alongside the existing red/white paint scheme. The new paint scheme continues to retail at the same price of Rs 1.79 lakhs (ex-showroom). Under the skin of the Mojo XT300 is a 295cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine delivering 26.8bhp and 30Nm of torque. Unlike the Mojo UT300, the XT300 gets a fuel-injection system.
The new paint scheme is expected give the Mojo’s sales numbers a shot in the arm. While it might have seemed revolutionary as a concept in 2010, the Mahindra Mojo failed to make a dent in the market once it was launched. Sales of the bike plummeted after the initial frenzy died away. Mahindra recently introduced an entry-level variant called the UT300 with carburettor and lower-spec suspension, although this hasn’t made any significant effect on the sales.
