Mahindra & Mahindra Two Wheelers has announced a 5.68 per cent hike in total sales for November 2015. The company sold 19,088 two-wheelers last month as against 18,061 units sold in the same month last year.
Mahindra also exported 1,027 units of two-wheelers showing a good response for their products abroad as well. The company has not given out the detailed model-wise sales figures, but the major contribution to the hike can be attributed to the Centuro, Gusto and the newly launched Mojo. In fact, the demand for the Mojo has increased eventually stretching the waiting period for the bike from one to two months across the country.
Mahindra is closely monitoring the upward trend in sales in the domestic market. Likewise, it is also focusing on its dealer sales and service network. Under an expansion drive, they have opened a number of new dealerships in India in order to cater to both the sales and the after-sales demands.
