Mahindra Two-wheelers sold 13,197 two-wheelers in April this year, while the company had sold 15,845 units in the same month last year. The yearly growth momentum has failed to increase this time and there is a decrease in year-on-year sales numbers.
The 13,197 units sold during April 2015 include the domestic sales of 11,502 units and 1,695 units that were sold overseas. The sales figures for last month are less in comparison to the two-wheelers sold by Mahindra a year ago.
Mahindra sales numbers shot up ever since the Centuro motorcycle was launched. The commuter bike is enjoying a good demand in India as it on sale with an aggressive pricing and new features. In addition, Mahindra launched the Gusto scooter which has tasted a fair bit of success in the Indian market. They will soon launch the 300cc Mojo motorcycle.
