Mahindra Two Wheelers is gearing up to woo the prospective customers of the upcoming Mojo.
Other than delivering the Mojo on the day of the launch to the customers, the Pune-based manufacturer is going one step further by taking the first customers for a weekend trip. In fact, the entire cost for this trip will be taken care of Mahindra. This is a first of a kind initiative by any two-wheeler manufacturer in India. This reflects how eager Mahindra is to create a positive image for the Mojo in the Indian market. Some of the dealers have already started offering test rides to customers. The dealers are ready to bring the Mojo to your doorstep for test rides in case you can’t make it to the showrooms. And interestingly, this is happening before the official launch.
As a brand, Mahindra isn’t quite among the top names in the Indian two-wheeler space. Other than the Centuro motorcycle, none of its products took off. The Mojo, on the other hand, is entering a space where motorcycles like the KTM Duke 200 and the Duke 390 have already set a benchmark. Mahindra will find it tough to pitch the Mojo in the premium motorcycle segment. The company has smartly positioned the Mojo as a tourer, however, it will be interesting to see if it performs and feels like one.
