Mahindra Two Wheelers have opened a new dealership in Mumbai, at Goregaon West. This new facility named 'SM Auto' is the 42nd dealership in Maharashtra.
The new dealership is spread over an area of over 3,300 sq. ft. which includes a showroom and a workshop. Mahindra says that this new facility is a part of the company’s strategy to expand its retail presence in the important western markets of the country.
Dharmendra Mishra, Vice President Sales and Customer Care, said, “We are glad to have launched our 42nd dealership in the state of Maharashtra. Over the last nine months we have seen huge demand for our two wheelers emerging from various cities in the west, particularly for the Centuro. The inauguration of SM Auto is in line with our west-centric expansion strategy.”
Today, Mahindra has over 1,000 touch points all over the country, out of which 173 are in Maharashtra. With the inauguration of new showrooms and service centres across India, the manufacturer has improved its sales and service network.
The manufacturer has been making constant efforts to cater to their customer base in India. They have expanded their network of dealerships and workshops in urban as well as rural areas in the country. In order to keep the Mahindra Centuro’s demand fulfilled, the company had increased the production of the bike. They will soon launch the Mojo, a 300cc motorcycle, in the Indian market.
