Mahindra Two Wheelers has reported that they sold 12,598 units in August 2014. Out of this, the domestic sales stood at 11,178 units, while exports for the month stood at 1,420 units.
“We have further enhanced our portfolio with the launch of exciting and differentiated product offerings like the Centuro Rockstar motorcycle and the Rodeo UZO 125 scooter, and are buoyed by the initial response to them. These two new product launches will be rolled out across our 1,400 sales and service touch points in the coming months. We are confident of significant growth in the upcoming festive season with the Centuro range, Rodeo UZO 125 and other differentiated products in our portfolio,” said Viren Popli, chief of operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
We believe the maximum sales for the company has come from the Centuro- their most successful motorcycle till date. It also launched a base variant of it along with the Rodeo Uzo 125. It is betting big on their upcoming scooter G101, which will be called the Gusto. Along with the Centuro, the Gusto will get volume sales for the company, which will help the company to gain additional market share in one of the fastest growing two wheeler market in the world.
