Mahindra Two Wheelers is planning to open around 500 outlets that will serve as a sales and service touch points in South India. The announcement was made during the inauguration of 212 Degree Bikes showroom in Chennai.

The Pune- based manufacturer has tasted success with the Centuro motorcycle with sales of over 1 lakh in a matter of few months. It plans to extend its range in the coming years with the introduction of 10 new models by 2016. Increasing its sales and service points makes complete sense for its future growth. Mahindra Two Wheeler acknowledges that they aren’t as big as Hero MotoCorp or Bajaj, but will want to launch products that will be best in the class.

"Today's inauguration of 212 Degree Bikes is in line with our South-centric expansion strategy and we plan to reach 500 plus sales and service touch points in this region," said Dharmendra Mishra, vice-president, sales and customer care, Mahindra Two Wheelers.
