- Peugeot unveils unveiled P2x Roadster and P2x Café Racer
- 300cc single-cylinder is likely from Mahindra Mojo
Peugeot Motrocyles has revealed two new interesting concepts at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The Mahindra-owned company unveiled P2x Roadster and P2x Café Racer.
The P2x Roadster and the P2x Café Racer are built on a new platform, as a result there are plenty of parts sharing among these bikes. The P2x Roadster gets a modern-retro design, whereas the P2x Café Racer gets a bit sharper styling due to the nature of the bike. Both the bikes are powered by a 300cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine, but the company hasn’t divulged the power figures. This motor is likely to be from the Mahindra Mojo 300.
In fact, the two concepts were equipped with Mojo’s USD fork, wheels, brakes making us believe that a lot of Mojo cycle parts will be used in the production model. There are a few more modern bits on the bikes like LED headlight, TFT instrument cluster with GPS and smartphone connectivity.
Both these bikes are likely to hit production in a year or two. Will it be launched in India? Definitely, if Mahindra plans to introduce the Peugeot brand in India.
