Mahindra Two Wheeler has been enjoying the Centuro success but doesn’t plan to just stop there. Its upcoming 110cc scooter has been spied testing many times and is all set to make its way to the Indian market next month.
Codenamed G301, the scooter will be Pune-based manufacturer’s first product in the competitive 110cc scooter segment. Currently, Mahindra Two Wheelers has a majority of its scooters in the 125cc segment, whereas there is just one 71cc scooter, the Kine, in their product portfolio. A 110cc scooter makes complete sense because of its popularity and its overall market share. The Honda Activa leads this pack and other manufacturers like Suzuki have recently entered this segment with the Let’s.
The new Mahindra 110cc scooter is expected to be more fuel-efficient, lighter, and more affordable than its other products. From the previous spy pictures, it is clear that this scooter will get a front apron that has been inspired from the Kinetic Blaze. Many parts are expected to be borrowed from the Duro to keep costs in check.
The new Mahindra scooter is expected to get the same 110cc engine from the Centuro but the power figures will be re-tuned to suit its nature. Fuel- efficiency is expected to be around 60kmpl. Mahindra will price this scooter very competitively, just like the way it did for the Centuro.
