Mahindra is working on a new 110cc scooter for many months and the same was spied testing many times in the past revealing very little information. A camouflaged version has been spied testing once again in Lonavala, but this time it reveals some vital information.
From the overall design, we can say that this new scooter will be positioned a unisex product targeting both men and women. Major revelation is the front apron which sports air intake, inspired from the Kinetic Blaze and vertical clear lens indicator. The exhaust and the grab rail look very similar to the ones on the Mahindra Duro. The spied scooter reveals a new instrument console which looks very basic.
The new Mahindra scooter is expected to get the same 110cc engine from the Centuro and the Pantero. However, the power figures will be re-tuned to suit its nature. Currently, the Pune based manufacturer sells the Duro, Rodeo, Flyte and the Kine in the Indian market, with the first three powered by a 125cc engine.
The new 110cc Mahindra scooter will take on the Honda Activa 110, Suzuki Lets and the Hero Maestro in the high volume segment. We expect the launch to happen in next few weeks, with price hovering around Rs 50,000 mark.
