- The scooter gets Ironman and Captain America liveries
- No mechanical changes have been made
- Won’t be launched in India
Honda Thailand has launched two special editions of the ADV 160 maxi-scooter. The new models are dressed up in Marvel-inspired Ironman and Captain America liveries. Here’s what they look like.
The Ironman edition gets a red paint scheme with golden accents all over, and the Captain America trim is covered in blue with white and red accents. Both scooters get a livery identical to the comic characters. Apart from that, the entire scooter remains unchanged. The split headlight scooped seat, transparent visor, and tall stance have been carried over.
The special-edition Honda ADV 160 is powered by a single-cylinder engine. It’s nestled in a double-cradle frame and dishes out 16bhp and 14.7Nm. Even the telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, and front and rear disc brake setup remain unaltered.
The Marvel Edition models also feature the same fully-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a traction control system. Honda will limit the production of the two models to just 3,000 units.
While Honda has recently filed design patents for the ADV 150 in India, we don’t think it’ll be launched here anytime soon. So, if you are looking for a maxi-scooter, then the Aerox 155 is the closest option in the 150-160cc segment.
