Mash Motorcycles have launched the X-Ride 650 adventure motorcycle in Europe. For the uninitiated, Mash is a motorcycle and scooter brand by the French company SIMA. At the moment, the company is one of the largest importers of motorcycles and accessories in France.
The Mash X-Ride 650 is a simple and lean-looking adventure motorcycle. The bike carries a circular theme for a few of its equipment like the headlamp and mirrors. It further comes with a sharp beak upfront, graphics across its 12-litre fuel tank and side profile, a single-piece seat, rear carrier, wide handlebars, wide rear tyre and an underbelly pan.
It's powered by a 643.7cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 39.43bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 45.11Nm of twist at 4,500rpm. This engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The suspension duty is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono shock suspension at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 320mm disc with four-piston callipers at the front and a 240mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear. Furthermore, the X-Ride 650 comes equipped with 17-inch wheels on both ends.
The Mash X-Ride 650 is launched in Europe at a price tag of 5,599 Euro, which converts to Rs 4.98 lakh. However, the arrival of this adventure motorcycle in the Indian market seems highly unlikely.
