Matchless motorcycles get a new owner

Matchless motorcycles, one of the oldest marques of British motorcycle industry have found a new owner. The company has been bought by Franco Malenotti – one of the top guys with the Italian apparel maker, Belstaff.

Malenotti is planning to build motorcycles based on the classic G80, Silver Hawk and Silver Arrow. However, it won’t be proper production-line but only a limited run. Belstaff is known for giving new life to dying companies with his skills and expertise. We hope he manages to turn around this classic bike manufacturer as well, which stopped production years back. We can also expect Malenotti to launch apparels based on the company’s upcoming motorcycles.
