Maxxis Tyres aims to expand its dealership reach in India

- Maxxis conducted a dealer’s meet in Bengaluru

- Presented its range of products and warranty scheme

- Aims to have 100 more dealers in India this year

Maxxis India, a subsidiary of Maxxis Group, is aiming to widen its footprint across India. As a part of this plan, the company conducted a dealer’s meet in Bengaluru in order to share its expansion plan while also briefed the dealers about the range of tyres in its portfolio. The meet was attended by 42 Maxxis Tyre dealers from Bengaluru and other regions including Mysuru, Shimoga, Hassan and Devanagre. The prospective dealer partners of the brand were also a part of the program.

Maxxis Tyres has recently collaborated with Hero MotoCorp and became the sole supplier of 90/100-10 M6000 53J tyres for its scooter line-up. In order to make the dealers aware of the quality of its tyres and tubes, the manufacturer presented the durability test results of its products. Notably, under these tests, the company scrutinises its tubes and tyres in varied conditions on a private test track. Moreover, the company also announced a five-year unconditional warranty and first year free replacement warranty on its products.

This year, the company expanded its reach to over 1500 retail outlets from the previous 1000 dealerships. According to Bing-Lin Wu, the marketing head of the company, Maxxis intends to have 100 more dealers by the end of this year. Maxxis India established a manufacturing facility at Sanand, Gujarat in March 2018 while it plans to set up five more such facilities in India in the coming years.
