- MBP to make Indian debut next week
- Expected to showcase C1002V
- Will be sold alongside Keeway, Benelli and QJ Motor products
MBP, a Chinese-owned Italian manufacturer is all set to make its Indian debut at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 which is scheduled from 12-15 January. The brand, which has been brought to India by Adishwar Auto Ride is expected to showcase the C1002V cruiser at the event.
Now the C1002V was globally unveiled at the EICMA in November and comes with a power-cruiser design language that would give the Harley-Davidson Nightster a run for its money while having Ducati Diavel fans take a peek. The motorcycle flaunts a laid-back riding triangle, blacked-out and brawny bodywork complete with fat tyres at both ends. At first glance, it would even remind you of the iconic Harley-Davidson Nightrod.
In between is a 997cc, V-Twin with cylinders positioned at 80 degrees and an output of 94bhp and 102Nm. These numbers are on par with its competition, but its feature list takes it a step higher. The MBP C1002V comes with switchable engine maps and a cruise control system as standard. You also get a 5-inch TFT display that can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.
MBP is expected to showcase the C1002V next week, although there is no word about its launch. That said, Adishwar Auto Ride will be unveiling a few other motorcycles under the Motovault umbrella that has Zontes, Moto Morini, QJ Motor, Keeway and Benelli as well.
