Chinese/UK two-wheeler brand, Lexmoto has introduced its latest offering in the form of Detroit. It’s a small 125cc cruiser and looks quite similar to the Harley-Davidson 883.
Speaking of the looks, the Lexmoto Detroit gets a fairly low-slung cruiser stance. It’s equipped with a round halogen headlight, walnut-shaped fuel tank, single-piece seat and an upright handlebar.
Lexmoto has plonked in a 125cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder motor that belts out 9.4bhp and 9.08Nm. Not to mention, it meets the Euro-5 norms as well. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and Lexmoto claims the top-speed to be 104kmph.
Suspension duties on the Detroit are done by conventional telescopic forks and dual gas-charged rear shocks. The braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc mounted on an 18-inch front and a 15-inch rear wheel.
The asking price for the Lexmoto Detroit is set to EUR 2,899 (approximately Rs 2.4 lakh excluding taxes). Considering the asking prices for 125cc motorcycles in India, the Lexmoto Detroit is notably expensive and won’t be launched here anytime soon.
