Every once in a while you come across a motorcycle that would seem more appropriate in a museum rather than on the road. The Midalu 2500 V6 is one of those. Brainchild of a Czech bike maker called FGR, the Midalu 2500 V6 will go into production in 2018 and can be yours for just Rs 88.5 lakh (EUR 1,20,000). We attempt to justify the astronomical price tag of this piece of art with a photo gallery.
In true European style, the Midalu 2500 V6 is built around a trellis frame. The lack of bodywork brings out the raw character of the bike.
One look at the aluminium milled swingarm, fat exhaust pipes, gleaming engine and the exposed frame is enough to convey its muscle bike character.
Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre and lightweight composition of components, the Midalu 2500 V6 tips the scales at a feathery 262 kilograms.
No prizes for guessing what is at the heart of the Midalu 2500 V6 – a 2442cc V6 engine which churns out 240bhp and 200Nm of torque.
FGR hasn’t skimped when it comes to cycle parts either. The top-spec suspension and braking hardware has been supplied by Ohlins and Brembo respectively.
With all bikes being built to order, the FGR will specify parts like seat and colour according to the customer’s whims.
Even if the price tag doesn’t, the limited production run of just six units a year should make the Midalu 2500 V6 one of the rarest modern motorcycles.
