Moto Art makes its debut at India Bike Week 2016

IBW 2016 saw the entry of something new to the venue. They are one of the very essences of the motoring world (both two-wheeled and four-wheeled) and play an important role conveying the beauty of the machines. Yes we are talking about themed art and photography which had its own separate tent at the IBW venue.

The photographs were taken by Sharang Patil, Abhimanyu Mulchandani and Rony Sequiera. All three have chosen a modern theme and have included subjects like scooters, motorcycles, people and engines in their photos.

Under the range of photos and artwork were a collection of motorcycles. The bikes under the photos were based on vintage and modern models while the bikes near the art collection display were vintage models all in immaculate condition.

The art work (main pic) and sculptures are done by two Hyderabad based artist siblings who have given themselves aliases IRONIc and Hammered. IRONIc has been the magic hands behind the sculptures while Hammered has done the artwork.

Finally, we also met a Mumbai based airbrush artist Rahul Desai who works out of the city and will airbrush helmets, fuel tanks and even bits on cars. He told us that he can create any theme but personally prefers dark elements in his artwork.
