- Sports similar design as the V85 concept.
- Powered by a 853cc, V-Twin engine.
- Likely to arrive in India next year.
Italian manufacturer, Moto Guzzi has taken the wraps of its adventure-tourer, the V85 TT or ‘Tutto Terreno’, meaning all-terrain.
The bike looks similar to the V85 concept that was showcased at last year’s EICMA. Aptly called the ‘Classic Enduro’, the V85 TT gets modern features in a classic body. The bike gets a high mudguard, muscular fuel tank and distinctive circular twin LED headlamps with an LED strip in the shape of the manufacturer’s logo. Furthermore, it also gets spoke wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), an upswept exhaust, fork protectors, engine sump guard and hand guards to boost its off-road abilities.
Powering the bike is a 853cc, V-Twin motor that produces 78bhp and 80Nm of torque. It sports an asymmetric swingarm that houses the new shaft drive transmission. The V85 TT’s electronics package consists of traction control and ABS along with three ride modes- Road, Rain and Off-Road. The rider can control the electronics via a full-colour TFT screen which is Bluetooth enabled.
Moto Guzzi is expected to globally launch the V85 TT at the EICMA in November. We can expect the bike to arrive in India sometime next year. It will compete against the Triumph Tiger 800, Ducati Multistrada 950 and the BMW F850 GS in India.
