- Moto Morini X-Cape 650 showcased at the 2021 Beijing Motor Show
- Will arrive in Europe in the coming months
- Unlikely to enter the Indian market
Moto Morini has unveiled its X-Cape 650 at the 2021 Beijing Motor Show. Earlier the Italian company had also teased its adventure motorcycle at the EICMA 2019.
The X-Cape 650 is a lean and sharp-looking adventure motorcycle. It gets semi-fairing on its 18-litre fuel tank which further connects to the headlight assembly, a tall windscreen visor, single-piece seat, chunky rear grab handles, underbelly pan and a sporty exhaust. It also comes with features like all LED lights, switchable ABS and seven inch TFT dash. The company has additional accessories on offer like protective bars and heated knobs for the X-Cape 650.
This adventure motorcycle is powered by a 649cc DOHC twin-cylinders Euro5 engine that sits in a steel trellis frame and churns out 60.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 56Nm at 7,000rpm. For braking, it employs a 298mm double disc at the front and 255mm single disc at the rear assisted by Bosch ABS. It is further equipped with a 19-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel at the rear.
The X-Cape 650 will be offered in three colour options: Red, Grey and White. However, the company has not yet revealed the retail price of the motorcycle. While the X-Cape 650 is planned to arrive at dealerships in Europe in the coming months, its entry into the Indian market seems highly unlikely.
