The Italian brand Moto Morini recently entered India with three motorcycles. We also got to ride them briefly and the one which impressed us the most was the X-Cape 650X adventure tourer. Before our detailed road test review of the bike goes up, you can read our first impressions here. For now, let’s check out some of the most enticing images of the motorcycle.
The X-Cape looks like a quintessential adventure tourer with a tall and upright stance. Adding to its ADV credentials are a tall windscreen, high ground clearance, knobby tyres, spoke wheels, and a rear luggage rack.
It’s decently equipped in terms of modern features with the list comprising a seven-inch full-colour TFT display, two riding modes (Ride and Off-road), dual USB charging ports, and an adjustable windscreen.
The hardware package, in particular, is impressive with tubeless cross-spoke wheels, Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres, adjustable USD forks and monoshock, and dual discs up front.
Powering the X-Cape 650X is a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 60bhp at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 54Nm at 7,000rpm.
Moreover, while riding the bike off-road, we learnt that the engine delivers punchy low-end torque making the bike easy and fun to take on the rough stuff.
Adding to its off-road capabilities are grippy Pirelli tyres, low centre of gravity, and good weight distribution which make it a beginner-friendly off-roader.
The prices of the X-Cape 650X are yet to be announced. The motorcycle will go up against the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT.
