- FB Mondial HPS 300 launched in India
- The most affordable Scrambler in India
- Will be assembled in India
Kinetic Group has introduced a new motorcycle in India through Motoroyale multi-brand retail brand. The FB Mondial HPS 300 is now available in India for Rs 3.37 lakhs (ex-showroom Pune).
With this new brand, the company now has a total of five motorcycle brands, MV Agusta, Norton, SWM and Hyosung. The company believes that there is a market in India for a smaller scrambler. The HPS 300 follows a minimalistic design language but thanks to the off-road tyres, single long seat and the dual exhaust, the bike does turn heads.
The HPS 300 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 25hp and 22Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The suspension duties are taken care of by 41mm USD forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear. The bike is equipped with 280mm single disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. ABS comes as standard. As it's a Scrambler, the bike gets 18-inch and 17-inch spoke-wheels at the front and rear respectively.
The bookings for the FB Mondial HPS 300 have already begun. The bike will be sold as a completely-knocked down (CKD) unit. As of now, there’s no real competition for this bike, but if the pricing is considered then the BMW G310GS comes very close to it.
