- It weighs 175kg dry and can achieve a top speed of 244kmph
Motoroyale launched the naked street fighter, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR in India, which has been priced at Rs 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The motorcycle is now positioned alongside other new motorcycles from brands such as Norton, SWM, Hyosung and FB Mondial under the Motoroyale banner. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR is the more powerful version of the standard Brutale 800 that is already available in the country.
In terms of styling, the RR version is similar to the standard bike with slight additions to make it stand out. It gets additional graphics on the fuel tank and underseat cowl with red strips running along the wheel rims.
The most prominent change lies on the engine of the RR version. Its 798cc three-cylinder engine produces 140bhp of power at 12,300rpm and 87Nm of torque at 10,100rpm. The standard bike, on the other hand, churns out lesser power at 107bhp and 83Nm. The Brutale 800 RR weighs 175kg dry and has a claimed top speed of 244kmph. The electronics package includes ride-by-wire throttle, eight-level adjustable traction control, hydraulic slipper clutch and four riding modes.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR will be sold through Motoroyale’s multi-brand outlet. Based on its price tag alone, it competes against the Italian street fighter, Aprilia Tuono V4 1100, in India.
