Motoroyale India will soon launch a special edition motorcycle in India, the MV Agusta 800 RR America Edition. The company has revealed this through an Instagram post.
While the Brutale 800 RR America edition isn’t a limited edition model, only 5 bikes will go on sale in India. This motorcycle gets a mix and match of various colours like red, blue and white - all part of the American flag. There's also an 'American Special Edition' badging on the bikes, along with the serial number of each motorcycle. The bike is equipped with bright red colour seats to go with the overall design of the bike. The customers will get a certificate of authenticity along with their bike.
At the heart of the Brutale 800RR America is a 798cc inline three engine, which delivers 138bhp and 86Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a quickshifter which allows clutchless upshifts and downshifts. The electronic rider aids on the Brutale 800RR America are limited to an eight-level traction control system and ABS. The Brutale 800RR America rides on 43mm Marzocchi inverted front forks and a Sachs rear monoshock. Both are adjustable for preload, rebound and compression damping. The brake setup consists of dual 320mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc. The callipers have been sourced from Brembo.
The standard Brutale 800 RR is priced at Rs 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). So expect the America Edition to demand some premium of few lakhs over the 800 RR.
