- Entire range gets cosmetic and mechanical updates
- The F3 RC and Dragster RC SCS get lightweight wheels too
- MV is also offering an Akrapovic exhaust and more
MV Agusta has announced the RC series for its 800cc trio: F3, Dragster and Turismo Veloce. The three models are to set receive cosmetic and mechanical updates over the standard range and will be produced in limited numbers only – 200 units of the F3 RC and 300 units of the Dragster and Turismo.
First, all three bikes will be powered by the same motor: 798cc liquid-cooled inline triple-cylinder unit. However, the output figures and the compression ratio for the three will vary as per the purpose. The F3 and the Dragster will dish out 140bhp and the top speed will be capped at 243kmph. On the other hand, the ADV sibling will be tuned to develop 110bhp and have a top speed of 230kmph.
Along with the new paint scheme of red/white/green for the RC (Reparto Corse), the supersport and the streetfighter also get friction-reducing TiN-coated (titanium nitride) fork legs and forged wheels, Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, race map, carbon fibre bits and CNC levers.
The Dragster RC and the Turismo RC share MV Agusta’s Smart Clutch system. It alters the use of clutch levers as per the stops and launches. Not to mention, MV has also kitted out the Turismo Veloce with a new exhaust, suspension tuning, larger windscreen and a tweaked electronic shift sensor along with an updated IMU system.
MV Agusta will also engrave the production number of each bike on its triple clamp. Currently, the Italian manufacturer has no plans of bringing either of the three models to India.
