Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta has announced a new industrial partnership with premium exhaust systems manufacturer, Akrapovic. Under this agreement, Akrapovic supply exhaust systems that will be exclusively designed and produced for specific MV Agusta models. The details about the products that will get exclusive Akrapovic exhausts are scarce.
Speaking about the new partnership, Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motor said that sound is part of the MV Agusta experience. It’s a key element to its style and the company pays a lot of attention to it. Sardarov further added that this partnership goes well beyond the look and sound, it is really about leading-edge technology, performance and uncompromising quality.
Uroš Rosa, CEO, Akrapovic said that the Slovenian brand will create innovative products for the MV Agusta models that are coming soon, with designs that have never been seen before. With high-tech, race-proven materials, such as titanium and carbon fibre, Akrapovic will create systems that will enhance the ‘Motorcycle Art’ that MV Agusta prides itself on.
Meanwhile, MV Agusta is working on its updated and new models that will include Euro5-compliant variants of the existing motorcycles along products in the cruiser and the scrambler segment.
