- Brutale 1000RR revealed
- Gets top-spec parts, electronics
- Engine makes 208bhp
MV Agusta has unveiled another exclusive motorcycle. It goes by the name Brutale 1000RR and is based on the super expensive Brutale 1000 Serie Oro limited edition.
The Italian maker has equipped the Brutale 1000RR with some fancy parts. Things like forged aluminium wheels, aluminium fasteners and some more lightweight components can be seen on the bike. This MV Agusta is also equipped with a full colour TFT screen, full ride by wire throttle with multiple engine and throttle maps covering Sport, Race, Rain and Custom. The system works along with bike’s IMU. It also modulates intervention based on lean-angle data provided by the IMU. The Front Lift Control, an evolution of the anti-wheelie system, has active and non-active options. The Brutale 1000 RR also comes with launch control.
The Brutale 1000RR gets its power from the same 208bhp four-cylinder motor that is seen on the Serie Oreo model. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox that has quickshifter and blipper system. The braking system is taken care of by Brembo front calipers and 320 mm diameter floating discs. The rear gets a 220mm disc with a dual-piston caliper.
The Brutale 1000RR goes on sale in UK very soon with a price tag of Rs 25 lakh. Unfortunately, it won’t come to India anytime soon as MV Agusta bikes aren’t sold in India anymore.
