- Priced at Rs 18.73 lakhs (ex-showroom)
- Limited to 5 units in India
- Based on the standard Brutale 800 RR
MV Agusta has launched a limited-edition Brutale 800 RR in India called the Brutale 800 RR America and has put a price tag of Rs 18.73 lakhs (ex-showroom). Interestingly, this is Rs 28,000 lesser than the standard Brutale 800 RR.
The Brutale 800 RR America is limited to 200 units worldwide out of which only 5 units will be available in India. The motorcycle draws inspiration from another special bike; the 1973 MV Agusta S America 750. And to add exclusivity, the Brutale 800 RR America sports a blue/white/ red paint scheme similar to the American flag. It also gets 'America Special Edition' badges that feature the production number of the motorcycle along with a star-studded logo on the fuel tank.
Apart from the cosmetic changes the bike remains similar to the standard variant. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 is powered by a 798cc, inline-three engine that produces 138bhp and 86Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a two-way quickshifter. MV Agusta has also equipped the Brutale 800RR America with an eight-level traction control system and ABS.
The bike rides on 43mm Marzochhi inverted front forks and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by twin 320mm discs upfront and a single 220mm rear disc. Callipers at both ends are sourced from Brembo.
