Kinetic Group – the official importer and seller of the MV Agusta bikes in India will soon launch the Brutale Dragster and the Turismo Veloce.
Till now the company has been selling the naked and the super sport motorcycles. In fact, the overall market response has been good, especially for the limited and special editions. The company has sold 50 bikes since its Indian operation started. In order to widen its portfolio and give more value to its dealers, the company will introduce the Brutale Dragster and the Turismo Veloce in India in the next few months.
The exact launch dates for these Italian bikes aren’t confirmed yet but it will be brought to the market after the launch of the new Brutale 800. This bike will soon go under homologation, followed by the homologation process of the Brutale Dragster and the Turismo Veloce. Both the bikes are powered by the same 798cc inline three cylinder engine but in a different state of tune. The former generates 123bhp at 11,600rpm and 81Nm at 8600, whereas the latter produces 108bhp at 10,150rpm and 80Nm at 7100rpm.
The Brutale Dragster will be positioned between the Brutale 800 and the Brutale 1090. We’re expecting a price tag of close to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom Pune) for that. The Turismo Veloce on the other hand, will demand a premium over the Brutale 1090 and can have a pricing between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). Both the bikes will be assembled at the company’s Ahmednagar facility and sold through all Motoroyale dealerships.
