- Cagiva – Elefant could be relaunched
- MV Agusta is working on a plan
MV Agusta is planning to resurrect two old but iconic brands – Cagiva and Elefant. This news was confirmed by the top boss of the company.
According to Timur Sardaro, CEO, MV Agusta, the company’s marketing department is evaluating the possibilities of products with the Cagiva brand. They are also figuring out if the Italian brand should launch Elefant as a sub-brand of MV Agusta or share the name with Cagiva.
MV Agusta wanted to strengthen its finance as a part of its initial plan after Sardaro took reigns from Castiglioni family. It took them a few years, but they are stronger than ever. The company now wants to focus on building new motorcycles and has announced the development of new 550cc and 950cc motorcycles that are likely to make debut in 28 months.
We believe that the company would use the famous Cagiva nd Elefant names for their 550cc and 950cc bikes. This will help them market the products well and touch the history of the brand.
