- Limited to just 300 units worldwide
- Gets special colour option
- Will not be launched in India
MV Agusta has taken the wraps off the Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition in international markets. The motorcycle is based on the Italian manufacturer’s motorcycles but with inspiration from the 1975 MV Agusta 750S America.
Hence, it comes painted in blue with red and white highlights. It also gets a red seat to make it stand out even further. While the special-edition is cosmetically the same as the standard version, the America edition of the Dragster gets a carbon-fiber cover on the rear wheel. Other than this the bike continues with a 798cc triple that 140bhp and 87Nm that is mated to a six-speed gearbox and MV’s SCS- a hydraulically-actuated automatic clutch. Suspension is being taken care of by Marzocchi fully adjustable front forks and fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock on the rear. Braking setup is by Brembo, with a pair of radial four-piston calipers and 320mm floating discs the front, and a single two-piston caliper and 220mm disc in the rear. The setup is accompanied by Continental ABS.
But what makes the MV Agusta Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition is its exclusivity. The motorcycle is limited to just 300 units worldwide. However, it is not going to be launched in India anytime soon since MV Agusta has stopped its operations in the country a few years ago.
