- Explorer ADVs gets over 15,000 pre-orders
- Lucky Explorer 9.5, 5.5
- India launch unlikely
MV Agusta has claimed that it has received huge pre-bookings for its latest creations – the Explorer ADV line-up. The Lucky Explorer 9.5 and 5.5 were unveiled at 2021 EICMA Show, Italy.
According to a report, the Italian brand claims to receive pre-booking orders of close to 15,000. These numbers are not just from Europe but from all over the world. These numbers are quite big for the brand which sells not more than 5000 units in a year. The Lucky Explorer 5.5 is based on brand’s new 550cc parallel-twin engine that has a 70.5mm bore and 71mm stroke, whereas the 9.5 the based on the 930cc engine that is seen on brand’s F3 800. The engine on the bigger ADV has been heavily revised to make it ADV friendly.
MV Agusta hasn’t revealed the timelines to take both the motorcycles intro production but we can expect that to happen in the next few months. Unfortunately, neither of the bikes will come to India as the brand doesn’t exist in the country anymore.
