- MV Agusta to unveil heavily updated F3 800 next year
- Will be better in terms of technology
MV Agusta is working on a new, comprehensively-updated version of its supersport, the F3 800, which will be globally introduced next year. The revelation was made by the company CEO, Timur Sardarov, through MV Agusta’s official social media channel.
Timur didn’t reveal much about the new version of the motorcycle saying it’s a ‘top secret.’ However, he did affirm that the new F3 800 will be electronically more advanced as compared to the current-gen model. Interestingly, the existing iteration of the supersport is already heavily equipped for its segment. The standard set of electronic aids comprise of eight-level traction control, ride-by-wire, electronic quick shifter and Bosch 9 Plus ABS with Race mode.
In terms of styling, the F3 800 is already one of the most beautiful supersports out there, just like all MV Agustas. In spite of that, expect the Italian bike maker to give it a minor nip and tuck to add a pinch of freshness. Powering the motorcycle is a 798cc, in-line three cylinder engine which pumps out 146bhp at 13,000rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. This engine will be updated to comply with new emission norms.
Following its global launch, the new MV Agusta F3 800 will also come to India. It will demand considerable premium over the current-gen model which was priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, MV Agusta is in the process of appointing a new partner for its retail operations in India after parting ways with Kinetic Motoroyale.
