MV Agusta has revealed the F4 Claudio in memory of the brand’s founder, Claudio Castiglioni. This version is limited to 100-bikes and will be the last F4 to ever be produced before it gives into the newer Euro 4 emission rules. We bring to you the detailed photo gallery of the MV Agusta F4 Claudio.
The F4 Claudio shares its underpinnings with the top-of-the-line F4 RC which is also sold in India.
However, it gets a few changes to set it apart from the latter.
The elegant yet aggressive bodywork is now entirely constructed from carbon fibre with black and gold electroplated graphics.
It also gets wheels made from carbon fibre that have been sourced from BST Rapid Teck.
These 17-inch wheels have been wrapped in special Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa rubber which gets gold sidewalls.
The bike adorns Claudio’s name on places like the front fairing, rear seat cowl and cross-stitched rider seat.
The CNC-aluminium triple clamp bears a plate addressing the unique serial number of the bike.
Underneath the bodywork, the F4 Claudio is essentially an F4 RC with a 998cc, inline-four engine that produces 202bhp and 115Nm of torque.
MV Agusta is also offering the bike with track-only accessories like the dual underseat SC Project exhausts which bump the power to 209bhp.
Suspension duties are done by Ohlins NIX 30 forks up front and a TTX36 monoshock at the rear.
Braking is handled by twin 320mm discs at the front and a 210mm disc at the rear with Brembo Stylema 4-pot calipers.
The F4 Claudio sports bar-mounted buttons that seems to be straight out of a MotoGP bike to access the electronics.
It also gets a 5-inch AiM MXS full-colour TFT display with data logging and built-in GPS.
The F4 Claudio is likely to arrive in India, although in limited numbers. We can expect it to costs a hefty premium over the F4 RC which costs Rs 50.87 lakhs (ex-showroom, India)
