We all know that the MV Agusta builds some incredible performance bikes. But there’ve been many instances where profitability was a big problem for the company, just like now.
Despite a tremendous growth in sales and revenue, the company is looking for new investors to keep the company operational. Unfortunately, there are a couple of investors who want to put in their money but can’t because the current MV Agusta CEO, Giovanni Castiglioni, is not ready to give the full control to them. And this might prove to be a hindrance in making MV Agusta profitable.
In fact, a couple of years ago the Mercedes AMG division bought 25 per cent take in this Italian maker but the German carmaker was just testing the waters. As per reports, this partnership isn’t helping either of them and Mercedes AMG can’t put in more money if Giovanni Castiglioni doesn’t give full control.
The Italian maker has recently started selling its motorcycles in India through Kinetic and we hope they continue to do so in the future.
