Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, MV Agusta has announced the launch of the MV Ride app. The new smartphone app, which is currently available on iOS, will be compatible with all Euro5 models.
It is already compatible with MV Agusta models equipped with second-generation 5.5-inch TFT screens such as Brutale 1000 Serie Oro, Brutale 1000 RR, Superveloce 800 Serie Oro and Superveloce 800. The app is divided into three main sections – My bike, Itineraries and Trips.
The “My bike” function can be used to access specific data, such as the battery charge and fuel level, through Bluetooth. The same function can also be used to personalise the engine, suspension and safety menus. The rider can change the setup of the Öhlins EC electronic suspension, traction control and ABS directly from a smartphone. To make things easier, the app can store up to 10 favourite configurations for the engine, suspensions and safety features.
The “Itineraries” function helps the rider to easily visualise all the itineraries on the smartphone screen and follow the turn-by-turn navigation on the TFT colour screen of the bike. The Itineraries section also allows the rider to save and share itineraries for future use.
The third function, Trips, records information such as lean angles, gear shifts, throttle and other data. The rider can also click pictures to complement the information.
