- Dragster RR Pirelli unveiled
- Developed by MV Augusta, Pirelli
- Gets cosmetic upgrades only
MV Agusta has just unveiled the 2018 Dragster RR Pirelli Editon. As the name suggest, this motorcycle has been developed in collaboration with Pirelli.
Both the companies worked on the naked streetfighter to design a motorcycle that can showcase the Italian’s design expertise. The Dragster RR Pirelli Editon gets some exclusive bits to make it a very special motorcycle.
The bike sports Pirelli’s flash logo that is usually used in Supercorsa SP range. This can be seen on the seat and on the tank pad. The custom seat has been made by the Castiglioni Research Center, which also features the flash logo and color-matching panels. The exhaust exterior is coated with a special ceramic-based paint that does increase the overall appeal of the bike. This bike is available in two paint schemes – black/yellow and the blue/white. The overall design elements on the bike have been matched with these paint schemes.
In terms of engine enhancement, there isn’t anything. The bike continues to be powered by the same 798cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder motorcycle which makes 140bhp and 87Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with slip-assist function.
While the Dragster RR Pirelli is supposed to be a limited edition motorcycle, the Italians haven’t given the exact units that will be made in its factory. The Dragster brand isn't sold in India. If it was, at least one unit of this limited editon model would have definitely made its way to India.
