MV Agusta recently unveiled another of its exquisite and limited edition motorcycles, the Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro. While this is a Super Veloce in every essence, the Serie Oro is a litre class model instead of the other 798cc models.
One can’t possibly deny that MV Agusta makes some of the most beautiful and eye-appealing motorcycles. The Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro is no different. It invokes a feeling of exclusivity the moment you lay your eyes on it, and it is literally a limited edition motorcycle.
MV is manufacturing just 500 units of the Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro. Naturally, more than half of them are already sold out.
The MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro is loaded with as many as 41 carbon fibre components. The list includes dashboard support, chain guard, full fairing, and then some more. Making it even more premium is the quad Titanium Akrapovic exhaust with slash cut tips. Even the heat shields around the external pipes are made of carbon fibre.
Powering the Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro is a 998cc, inline four-cylinder engine. It was earlier used in the Brutale 1000 series and now makes 208bhp at 13,000rpm and 116.5Nm at 11,000rpm for the Super Veloce.
MV Agusta claims the Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro can hit a top speed of more than 300kmph. And backing up all the fire power is a series of electronic rider aids like eight-level traction control, two wet modes, three road modes, three track modes, launch control, front lift control, cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS, and a quick shifter.
If that wasn’t enough, the bike also gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, and Ohlins steering damper. Not to mention, the combination of red with golden looks quite desirable too.
MV Agusta hasn’t revealed the Super Veloce 1000 Serie Oro’s asking price but we are sure it isn’t coming cheap, and for the right reasons.
